North West IGAS
North West IGAS is a regional based associate group of the Irish Group Analytic Society. Membership includes group analysts and those who work from a group analytic perspective. Current members come from a range of counties including Fermanagh, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
How Meetings Work: NW IGAS meets up to six times in the year. The group currently meet in Sligo on a Saturday from 11.00am- 2.00pm. The meeting includes 2 sessions, the first allowing members to engage in open discussion on themes that might arise in the group. The second session offers time for members to bring individual themes or pieces of work for consideration by the group.
Other Events: NW IGAS has hosted national events for the wider membership of IGAS. These events have encouraged a wider conversation and exploration of group analysis in Ireland.
Contact Details: If you are interesting in attending a NW IGAS meeting, please contact the current convenor of the group Paula Finn O’Connor
