ICP is the umbrella organisation for all psychotherapies in Ireland, and is a National
Awarding Organisation of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP). In conjunction

European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP):
EFPP, of which IGAS is a member, facilitates communication between psychoanalytic
psychotherapy networks in Europe.
It advocates the availability of psychoanalytic psychotherapy and its applications in member
countries, and is especially concerned with the development of psychoanalytic psychotherapy
within the public service. The EFPP has developed a European Certificate of Psychoanalytic
